It's Monday morning, so a quick reminder about diligence.
These days you hear people say work smart and not work hard but working smart is really hard work as it requires a great deal of mental exertion.
1. John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
2. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
3. 2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
From the above scriptures, we see the place of diligence if we must please God and make a meaningful existence out of life.
Gird your loins, seek God with all diligence, get out there and work hard and smart. Your reward is certain because in all labour, there is profit.... (Proverbs 14:24)
