Developing intimacy with God is the gateway to experiencing his goodness.Consider the scripture below;
Job 22:21 (KJV )Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
How do you acquaint yourself with him so that peace and goodness becomes your heritage? The answer is in the scriptures below;
Joshua 1:8 (KJV ) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Heb 6:5 (KJV ) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
In all you do, let the word of the Lord dwell richly in you (Colossians 3:16 and one of the benefits of that is peace and goodness.
