Gen 13:14-15 (KJV)
And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward.
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
The pictures you see from the scriptures determine the reality you will live in and the narrative you will craft for yourself and not eh one life tries to impose on you. Abraham was childless but God told him to look at a massive expanse of land to be given to him and his seed for ever. This reinforced his confidence that he was not going to be childless forever. No wonder he hoped against hope and eventually Isaac came.
