ASO ROCK now looters lodge? Fayose says looters in Buhari's government are burying their loot in the presidential villa
“Looters in the Muhammadu Buhari’s Presidency, especially those being compensated for funding the election of the President in 2015 bury their own loots in the Villa with Presidential protection".
“Should it be wrong for other supposed looters that do not have presidential protection like the All Progressives Congress, APC, looters to bury their loots in burial grounds probably for spiritual protection?"
- Ayo Fayose, Gov. of Ekiti State reacting to Lai Mohammed's statement that looters now bury their loot in burial grounds
Background
- In response to Lai Mohammed's statement released yesterday that looters are now "burying stolen funds in their backyards, in deep forests and even in burial grounds", Gov. Fayose, speaking through his media aide, Lere Olayinka says that looters in Buhari's government are using Aso Rock as vault for safekeeping.
Our take on the matter
- We are flabbergasted at the thought that our very own Presidential Villa can become multi purpose. Housing the President while also doubling as vault and safe deposit box.
- We just learnt that keeping money in cemeteries adds a spiritual layer of protection. Eh hen?
Conclusion
- The APC led government can prove the Governor wrong starting with the Ikoyi discovery. Who owns the flat where the money was found? Simple question.
